Autumn is a classic square frame with small metal rivets at the front corners. It comes in five colours, from glossy black to see-through aqua. Clear blue light filtering lens, no prescription, no magnification.
The shape: wayfarer-style, square, a little wider than tall
"Wayfarer-style" is the common way to describe this shape: a squared frame with a thick front. The lens is slightly wider than it is tall (53 × 46 mm), so it reads as a square with a touch of rectangle.
Square frames tend to suit rounder faces well, because the straight lines add definition. They also sit comfortably on most other face shapes. If you want something softer, our big round glasses are the opposite look.
Five colours, one frame
- Gloss Black: shiny and sharp. The one that works with almost anything.
- Matte Black: the same black with a flat, non-shiny finish. Quieter than gloss.
- Clear: a see-through frame that lets your skin tone and eyebrows show through, so the glasses blend in.
- Aqua: a translucent blue-green. The brightest of the five.
- Leopard: a brown and black spotted pattern. The boldest choice.
How it fits
- Frame width: 140 mm
- Lens: 53 mm wide × 46 mm high
- Bridge: 15 mm
- Temple arm: 141 mm
- Weight: 17 g
A true medium. At 140 mm, Autumn sits just above the middle of our range. Want to see where it falls among our other frames? Our frame width comparison shows every size.
Check the numbers inside your own glasses. Look at the inside of one arm. Most glasses have three numbers printed there, such as 53-15-140. They are the lens width, the bridge and the arm length in millimetres. Autumn's first two numbers are 53 and 15. If yours are close, it should fit the same way.
A narrow 15 mm bridge. The bridge is the part that rests on your nose. If your glasses tend to sit too low or slide down, a narrower bridge is worth trying. If you have a wide nose, you may find 15 mm snug. In that case, look at a frame with an 18 to 20 mm bridge.
17 g is lighter than most of our frames, so it is easy to leave on all day.
Autumn or Retro?
Our Retro Blue Light Glasses are very close in size, so the choice comes down to two things.
Choose Autumn if:
- you want the narrower 15 mm bridge
- you want a simple pick from five colours
Choose Retro if:
- you want a wider 18 mm bridge
- you want more colours to choose from, eight in all, including pink, tea and brown
The lens
The lens is clear with no magnification, so your screen looks the way it should. There is no prescription option. Not sure what your lens actually filters? Our at-home test shows you how to check any pair.
Questions about the Autumn
What does wayfarer-style mean?
It describes the shape: a squared frame with a thick front, a little wider than it is tall. The Autumn follows that shape, with small metal rivets at the corners.
Will a 15 mm bridge fit my nose?
It suits low to average noses best. If glasses usually pinch or sit high on your nose, try a frame with a wider bridge instead. Our Retro has an 18 mm bridge.
Which colour should I choose?
Gloss or Matte Black go with the most. Clear is the subtle option, and Aqua and Leopard are the bold ones.
Can I get these with my prescription?
No. They come with non-prescription lenses only. If text looks blurry on your screen, see an optometrist first. Read more in non-prescription glasses in Canada.
