Fit Problems Nobody Warns You About

Standard frames are drafted for a wider face and a higher nose bridge than a lot of women have. Three things go wrong because of that.

They slide down. Usually a bridge that is too wide. Look for frames with adjustable nose pads. Our metal frames, like the Vintage Women's Metal, have them. Most plastic frames do not.

They sit too wide. If the arms bow out past your temples, the frame is too big and it will pinch behind your ears by mid afternoon. Narrower frames like the Calendar Women's at $30.20 fit a smaller face better.

Lashes brush the lens. More common than people expect, especially with extensions or a strong curl. Frames with more depth from the bridge, or any of our oversized shapes, give you the clearance.

If You Wear Contacts

This comes up more than any other question we get from women.

Contact lenses correct your vision. They do not filter blue light. Our frames do the filtering and nothing else, so you can wear them straight over your contacts with no conflict.

That is also why these are the easier option for contact wearers than prescription blue light lenses. No new prescription, no lab, no swapping between contacts and glasses depending on the task.

Questions We Get Asked

Do these have a yellow tint?

No. Our lenses are clear. Colours look normal, your screen looks normal, and nobody on a video call can tell you are wearing a filter. A lot of blue light glasses use an amber or yellow lens to get their filtering number up, which is why photos and design work look off through them. Ours do not do that.

Will they fit a narrower face?

Yes, if you pick the right frame. The Calendar, Mist and Shoreline are our narrower shapes. Skip the oversized styles.

Is it worth it if I only work part of the day on a screen?

Honestly, less so. The women who tell us these made a real difference are the ones on a screen six hours or more, or on a phone late at night. Under that, you may not notice much.

Can I wear them for reading a book?

What if I order and hate how they look?

Send them back within 25 days. See the refund policy. We would rather take a return than have you keep a pair you never wear.
